This announcement comes after the iconic Britpop band recently confirmed their return, following the release of their mild new single “Spike Island” and the declaration of a new album titled “More.”

Intimate Concerts and Tour Plans

To celebrate their first album in 24 years, Jarvis Cocker and the band have also announced two special intimate concerts in London. Today (April 22), they shared exciting news on social media, unveiling a series of 11 new shows in the USA and Canada scheduled for September. The tour kicks off on September 4 with a concert in Atlanta, with additional stops planned in Washington, Philadelphia, Queens, Boston, and Toronto over the course of a month.

Additional dates feature performances in Detroit and Minneapolis, culminating in a grand show at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado on September 22, followed by two nights at the Hollywood Bowl in California on September 25 and 26, alongside LCD Soundsystem.

“Pulp is thrilled to unveil more concert dates in the USA and Canada this September. The response from fans last year was so exhilarating that we couldn’t resist coming back for more!” the band expressed in a statement.

The frontman also shared a personal update, stating: “Yes, it’s happening again. Pulp will be performing in America this September.”

“I will celebrate my birthday in the USA for the second consecutive year,” he added. “We will dance together once again. I can hardly wait!”

Tickets will go on sale this Friday (April 25) at 10 a.m. local time, with pre-sale options available starting tomorrow (April 23). Get your tickets here and refer to the new tour dates below.

In addition to the North American dates, which follow their 2024 tour, Cocker and the band have several shows lined up in the UK and Europe this summer. Notably, they will return to their hometown in Sheffield and headline at Bilbao BBK in Spain, culminating in a full British arena tour in 2025. You can find more information and get your tickets here.

Regarding their upcoming LP, guitarist Mark Webber shared with NME last year, “We’re older now, so it’s a bit more mature, but that doesn’t make it sound dull! It’s somewhere between mature and playful pop music.”

Moreover, Cocker recently mentioned that they would only perform at Glastonbury 2025 “In Life or Death,” and reflected on how his infamous British Michael Jackson cascade impacted his mental health.
