PULP’s Contribution to Live Trust
PULP will be the first group to contribute to Live Trust, donating £1 from each ticket sold during their summer 2025 tour in the UK.
About Live Trust
Live Trust, established following last year’s investigation by the CMS Select Committee, aims to provide critical funding and support for the live music industry, which contributes £6.1 billion to the UK economy and employs 230,000 people.
David Martin, representing the artists’ coalition, told NME in January that he hopes many artists will support this initiative: “What I would like to see is a consistent £1 contribution for all concerts with a capacity over 5,000, so that the funds can be equitably distributed among venues and artists, while also providing some support to promoters.”
PULP has committed to this initiative by pledging £1 from each ticket sold on their upcoming tour.
“As the first British group supporting our mission, PULP champions the future of British live music, which includes the addition of a £1 ticket surcharge that directly benefits major platforms, festivals, and emerging talent across the UK,” stated an announcement on social media here. “Their commitment reflects that live music embodies passion, community, and a sustainable future.”
