Paddle Wes Simadlin Madda was arrested in California for the alleged violence in the family and drug possession.

TMZ reports that police were called to an apartment in Torrance, California, around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, following claims of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Scantlin and his girlfriend and determined that the verbal argument had escalated into a physical confrontation.

Allegations and Bail Situation

The police observed visible signs of assault on the woman, leading to Scantlin’s arrest. During their search of the apartment, officers reportedly found a small quantity of a controlled substance in his possession.

Scantlin has been charged with domestic violence and possession of a controlled substance. According to Sound consequence, as of Saturday morning, he remains in custody at the Los Angeles County jail with a bail set at $90,000.

Past Incidents and Controversies

Last year, Scantlin faced arrest and was pepper-sprayed during a confrontation with police. Previously, in 2017, he was arrested for attempting to board an airplane with a firearm.

In other news regarding Wes Scantlin, he claimed that his early March concert was a “roofied” experience. According to Loud, attendees reported several issues with the performance, including sound problems and Scantlin’s shaky on-stage presence, which made him appear stumbling and incoherent.

Despite this, Scantlin attributed the troubles to his former bandmate, bassist Sean Sammon. The following day, Scantlin interacted with a fan who inquired about the show, and this exchange was recorded and posted on Facebook. He candidly stated, “I suck, I suck and suck … But I was roofied,” in the video.

“My old bassist Sean Sammon roofied me last night, so he could fuck me over,” Scantlin continued, displaying two middle fingers to the camera before leaving, only to return and give another middle finger.

Separately, Scantlin admitted that the infamous cover of Nirvana’s classic “About a Girl” “looked and sounded like complete shit.”
