Ed Askew passes away
Ed Askew, the legendary psychedelic folk musician, has passed away at the age of 84.

News of his passing was communicated by Jerry’s musical collaborators David DeCicca and Jay Pluck, who both shared heartfelt messages on social media.
As of now, the cause of death has not been disclosed.
On Instagram, DeCicca posted a personal tribute to Askew, stating, “You are and always will be loved. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life and music. It was an honor to produce For The World.”
Born in Connecticut in 1940, Askew began his artistic journey after graduating from Yale School of Art in 1963, eventually choosing to pursue music.
