The album “Prize”, produced by Steph Martinano at Angelica Studios in London, follows their previous singles “Fool”, “Ugly”, “Oats”, and the title track. Recorded at the end of 2023, the album encapsulates the group’s extensive touring experience, which includes support slots with Olivia Dean, Wet Leg, and Whitney.
About ‘Sunshine Song’
Regarding “Sunshine Song,” the group reflects: “The song was written during a time when everything felt quite overwhelming. When you’re not feeling your best, it’s tempting to stay in bed and hide from it all. However, we discovered that solace can be found in simple pleasures, like taking a morning walk in the sunlight, immersing your head underwater in a pool, or noticing patterns on the wall—especially during the brutal cold and darkness of winter.
