BeyoncĂ©’s Stunning Halftime Performance

On Christmas Day (December 25), BeyoncĂ© headlined the NFL Christmas Halftime Show in Houston, Texas, performing songs from “Cowboy Carter” live for the first time. During her set, she delighted the audience by introducing Post Malone to perform their collaboration “Levii’s Jeans.”

Post Malone took to X (formerly Twitter) on December 29 to thank Beyoncé for the invitation to perform at the Halftime Show. He wrote: “Thank you so much @Beyonce for inviting me to Houston and for your beautiful record. Also, thank you for sharing your talent and art with the world. I love you.”

Following the conclusion of the Christmas game, which was streamed live on Netflix, BeyoncĂ©’s entire performance was released as a standalone special, titled BeyoncĂ© Bowl.

During the set, lasting under 13 minutes, Queen Bey was joined by artists like Shaboosie, Rayna Roberts, Tanner Adell, Britney Spencer, and Tiera Kennedy. Her eldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, also danced with her during “Texas Hold’em.”

To kick off the halftime show, which fans are calling “the best Super Bowl performance of all time, and it wasn’t even the Super Bowl”, BeyoncĂ© performed “16 Carriages.” Other songs in her repertoire included “Blackbird,” “YA YA,” “My House,” “Jolene,” and more. She was joined by Shaboozey for the song “Sweet Honey Buckiin.”

The festival will take place from April 11 to 13 and April 18 to 20, featuring performances from Missy Elliott, Megan Thee Stallion, solo acts from BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Jennie, the original Misfits, The Prodigy, FKA Twigs, Beabadoobee, and more, including XCX, whose June release “Brat” was named album of the year by the magazine NME.
