New Single Release
Perfume Genius has unveiled a fresh single titled “No Front Teeth,” featuring the talented New Zealand artist Aldous Harding. This track is part of the forthcoming Glory album.
New Album Details
Accompanying the single is a music video directed by Cody Krichelo, who previously worked on the video for Queen. The new visual showcases Mike Hadreas, Harding, and long-time Perfume Genius collaborator Alan Wyffels.
The upcoming album “Glory” sees Hadreas collaborating closely with well-known producer Blake Mills. Contributions also come from guitarists Meg Duffy and Greg Ulmann, as well as drummers Tim Carr and Jim Keltner, and bassist Pat Kelly. This recording marks a transition in Hadreas’ songwriting approach, emphasizing a more collaborative process with the musicians involved.
“I communicate more with the group and the audience. I still have a wild tear, but there is more access, and it is more jointly, so that it makes it better, but also scary – because it seems more vulnerable,” Hadreas explains.
