Special Guests Announced for SNL 50
Paul McCartney, Sabrina Carpenter, Paul Simon, and others have been added to the concert lineup for “SNL ’50.”

Celebrating the 50th Anniversary
Saturday evening on the air A special proposal for the 50th anniversary will occur this Sunday (February 16) and will feature McCartney, Carpenter, Simon, as well as Miley Cyrus, Lil Wayne, Brittany Hoard, and Roots.
Musical performances will be accompanied by a three-hour special preliminary segment, showcasing various live sketches that will feature both past and current SNL actors, special guests, and retrospectives dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the show.

The appearance of Simon on the show will be a noteworthy occasion as it marks a rare public performance following his significant hearing loss in 2023. Notably, he has been a musical guest 13 times.
SNL alumnus Jimmy Fallon will take on hosting duties, while Lorne Michaels and Mark Ronson will act as producers for this special event, which will be held at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
The concert will also feature previously announced artists such as the Backstreet Boys, Bad Bunny, Brandy Carlile, Chris Martin, David Byrne, Jack White, Robyn, Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, Eddie Vedder, Zach Bryan, Lady Gaga, Mumford and Sons, Post Malone, Hall & Oates, and the B-52s.

It was also revealed that Dave Grohl will make an appearance, which comes as no surprise given that he holds the record as the most frequent musical guest on the show, having performed 15 times.
SNL celebrated its 50th anniversary by launching its 50th season at the end of September. The anniversary festivities include a feature film titled Saturday Night, a documentary produced by Questlove, that will explore the music programming and much more.
