Bearded Theory festival adds new acts
Bearded Theory have unveiled a second wave of performances for their 2025 festival, with Paul Heaton and English Teacher among the latest additions to the lineup.

The Derbyshire festival is set to take place in Catton Park from May 21 to 25, featuring Heaton alongside special guest singer Rihanna Downey. English Teacher will headline Thursday’s celebration, joining previously announced headliners Iggy Pop, Manic Street Preachers, and The Sisters of Mercy.
Recent announcements also reveal additions such as Nadine Shah, Katie Jay Pearson, Ezra Furhman, Terrorvision, and Mannequin Pussy. Phil Hartnoll from Orbital will curate and perform on Saturday’s CODA stage, following his appearance at last year’s event.
Other new names on the lineup include Lottery Winners, Anxiety, Vaselines, Gurriers, Meffs, Du Blonde, and Millie Manders and Shut Up. BBC 6Music’s Chris Hawkins will also deliver a DJ set.
These artists will join an already impressive lineup featuring Yard Act, Leftfield, The Mary Wallopers, Ash, CMAT, Nova Twins, and Fat Dog, alongside Divorce, Lime Garden, The Lovely Eggs, Bess Atwell, Dream State, and Asian Dub Foundation.
Educational activities for children
Once again, a Festival School will be available on-site, providing educational activities for children from Reception to Year 10 on the Friday of the event.
