Patti Smith has revealed a series of extraordinary performances to commemorate the 50th anniversary of her iconic debut album “Horses.”
Tour Details
Smith, accompanied by her band featuring original members Lenny Kaye and Jay Dee Daugherty, along with Tony Shanahan—who has been part of the ensemble for three decades—will grace the stage. Additionally, Jackson Smith will contribute to the guitar performances.
The tour spans both European and American locations, with shows planned in cities including London, Dublin, Madrid, Bergamo, Brussels, Oslo, and Paris. The London performances are set to take place at the Palladium, while the American leg will cover cities such as Seattle, Auckland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Boston, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia.
Accolades and Release Dates
“Horses,” which was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2021, has also secured a place in the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress and received the prestigious Crosa Award.
