Ollie Alexander has unveiled his debut album under his own name, ‘Polari’. The release is accompanied by a new music video for the album’s track, “Whispers to the Waves,” directed by Colin Solal Cardo.
New Creative Journey
The album, recorded at Danny L. Harl Shackney Road Studios, signifies a fresh chapter for Alexander, who is known for his work as years and years. “Recently, I had a moment of reflection where I questioned if this is how my creative life should always be,” Alexander shares. “I am producing the music that resonates with me, and doing it on my terms gives it personal significance.”
Upcoming Events and Tour
The album is a collection of 13 tracks, featuring previously released singles like “Bow’s Bow” and “Dizzzy,” the latter of which is set to represent Alexander in the Eurovision competition for 2024.
To promote the album, Alexander will hold a series of acoustic performances and Q&A events, culminating in the Close and Polari tour across the UK and Europe.
