TMZ He stated that the former Migos rapper has filed legal documents seeking joint custody of their three children: Kulture, Wave, and their youngest daughter, whose name has not yet been disclosed.
Details of the Custody Arrangement
In his statement, he mentioned that Cardi’s residence should serve as the primary home for the children and requested the court to outline each parent’s responsibilities regarding alimony. Additionally, he proposed that the couple’s marital property be divided equally, with both parties responsible for their own legal fees.
Offset and Cardi B’s relationship has been a topic of attention for several years. They began dating in 2017 and secretly tied the knot that September, publicly revealing their relationship the following month. In 2018, they welcomed their first daughter, Kulture, before briefly separating this year. They reconciled in 2019 and had their second child, a son named Wave.
Last summer, Cardi B announced her third pregnancy with their second daughter and subsequently filed for divorce from Offset. She expressed on Instagram, “Slowly but surely, everyone should go their own way. My children will have to get used to this: ‘No, you are not going to come home every day, and your dad will be here.’ Slowly but surely.”
Since then, the couple has lived apart, although they occasionally come together for family gatherings.
Ongoing Tensions and Rumors
Shortly after the divorce announcement, Cardi B defended Offset amid rumors questioning his support during their marriage. On Instagram, she stated, “He helps me a lot with my business and children.” She further clarified, “Even with my performances, I do not ask for alimony; I simply ask him to cover the bills he’s already paying for the children and the new ones.”
However, tensions appeared to escalate between the couple. In January, Cardi B accused Offset and his mother of stealing her X/Twitter accounts. She did not elaborate on the situation but remarked, “I don’t listen after you and your mom robbed me. Yes, you and your mom robbed me cold, wiped my nose. He said that you should stop playing with me.” Offset has yet to respond to her allegations.
On the other hand, Offset accused Cardi B of deceit in their X/Twitter exchanges (via Hot97). He also released his latest single “Ten,” seemingly addressing his children’s mother with lines like: “I don’t need you, I have money/ I don’t miss you, I have money/ I love you, but not like money.”

He further appeared to boast about a change in Cardi, rapping: “I am not sorry, about what shit? What are you about?/ You knew that *** A was a dog, like Rottweiler/ so many hoes, I do most when I go out.”
Following their separation, Cardi was seen spending Valentine’s Day with NFL star Stephon Diggs (via Page Six), while Offset sparked dating rumors after being spotted with models Melanie Jade and Anok Yai, who featured in the music video for “Ten” (via Style).
