Overview of “Ten”
Released today (Friday, February 14), “Ten” showcases the Migos star, who seems to cast a shadow over his estranged wife Cardi B. The song serves as a continuation of his singles “Toyetic Trap,” “Swing My Way,” and “Antisyceal,” which were released in December and last month, respectively. Offset also filmed the accompanying music video for “Ten,” directed by KID Art, who also directed his previous single, and featuring Stars Model Anok Yai.
Produced by London Jae, “Ten” features Offset’s signature melodic vocals, playfully singing lyrics inspired by Afroswing Beat: “I don’t need you, I have money / I don’t miss you, I have money / I love you, but not like money.”
He also flaunts his new bachelor life, seemingly affecting his estranged wife Cardi B, as he candidly admits: “I am not sorry, shit, what are you Talm with? / You knew that I was a dog, like a Rottweiler / So many hoes, I do most when I go out.”

Background of Offset and Cardi B’s Relationship
Offset and Cardi B’s relationship has spanned several years. They began dating in early 2017 before secretly marrying in September of the same year, unveiling their relationship the following month. In 2018, they welcomed their first daughter, Kulture, before briefly splitting earlier this year. They reconciled in 2019 and had their second child, a son named Wave.
In August last year, Cardi B announced she was pregnant for the third time with her second daughter and filed for divorce from the rapper. “Slowly, but true, everyone should go in their own way,” she shared on Instagram. “My children should get used to this: ‘No, you are not going to come home every day, and your dad will be here. Slowly but true.’”
Earlier this year, Cardi expressed on X/Twitter, accusing Offset and his mother, Latabia Woodward, of stealing from her: “I don’t listen after you and your mother robbed me. Yes, you and your mother robbed me cold, wiped my nose. He said that you stop playing with me, damn.”
Last year, the Atlanta Trap pioneer also made notable appearances as a featured artist, particularly on “Celebrate” from the fifth and final studio album, “The Party Never Ends.” He collaborated with Gunna (“Style Rare” and “Prada Dem”), Blxst (“Risk Taker”), and Killer Mike (“Exit 9”).
The last album released by Offset was his long-awaited second solo studio album, ‘Set It OFF’, which dropped in October 2023. NME awarded it three stars, stating in their review: “His solo debut album of 2019, ‘Father of 4′, lacked charm, despite being superior to his Migos colleagues’ solo efforts. While enjoyable, it doesn’t quite reflect Offset’s legacy. In collaboration with Metro Boomin in 2017 on ‘Ric Flair Drip’, Offset hinted that he is in the same league as the 16-time wrestling champion, but more closely resembles Jeff Hardy as a solo act—great in the spotlight but best when he collaborates with his brothers.”
