Oasis Reunion Tour 2025: Full Band Lineup Revealed

Sources close to the upcoming tour of reunion Oasis told NME.

Speculation Surrounding Reunion

Ever since Noel and Liam Gallagher buried the hatchet for the Oasis Live ’25 Tour, speculation has surrounded who will join the brothers for their large summer concerts.

The mill of rumors regarding the group’s composition has seen several names of past members making headlines. Initially, reports indicated that “no other original Oasis member should join the reunion,” suggesting that members of Noel Gallagher’s High-Flying Birds would make up the rest of the lineup.

The drummer Alan White sparked discussions last year when he posted a picture of his drum kit featuring a Union Jack design, while original drummer Tony McCarroll implied he was not involved, especially following their public legal battle.

Potential candidates include Bonehead Paul Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell, Zak Stark, Jessica Greenfield, Russell Potchard, Chris Sharkey, and Mike Rowe. Last week, Liam humorously teased a lineup that included Peppa Pig, Sesame Street‘s Bert and Ernie, and the fingers of Bob.

Confirmed Lineup Details

Now, sources close to the group and the tour have informed NME that the following participants will form the live band for Oasis’ dates this summer:

Andy Bell – Bass

Reportedly, Bell has returned to the fold, once again playing bass for Oasis after initially joining McGuigan from 1999 to 2009, before following Liam to Beady Eye. Besides being involved in indie heroes, he has also recently formed the supergroup Mantra with Shaun Ryder and Bez. Bell is now set to contribute to the reunion and released his third solo album “Pinball Wanderer,” showcasing his history with Oasis and long-standing collaborations.

Gem Archer – Guitar

Archer is also expected to return to the guitar, having joined Oasis after Bonehead’s departure and played from 1999 to 2009. He has worked with both Gallagher brothers since then, collaborating with projects like High-Flying Birds and other acts such as Paul Weller.

Bonehead has been linked to the Oasis reunion since it was announced, having collaborated frequently with Liam during his solo career. It’s now confirmed that Arthurs will return to the guitar alongside Noel and Archer, forming an All-Star Oasis lineup this summer.

Joey Waronker – Drums

One of the “new faces” teased by Liam, Joey Waronker is a highly regarded drummer and producer who has collaborated with artists such as Beck, R.E.M., Elliott Smith, and Roger Waters. Although he has never played with Oasis before, he was recently behind the drum kit for a live group that toured with Liam. Sources close to the group mention considerable excitement about having such a respected musician on drums for the reunion lineup.

Kickoff is set for Friday, July 4, in Cardiff as part of the Oasis’ Live ’25 Tour, which will be the only show in Europe this year before the group heads to stadiums throughout North America, South America, Australia, and Asia.

In a statement to fans following the initial announcement, the group shared:

“The weapon was silent.
The stars were leveled.
The great expectation ended.
Come to see.
It will not be television.”

The sale of tickets in the UK faced criticism due to dynamic pricing practices “surge” (currently under investigation by the government), as Ticketmaster recently revoked thousands of tickets they believed were purchased by bots, aiming to curb secondary ticket sales, which upset many fans who felt wrongfully accused.

Recently, Liam teased the possibility of a new album. In September, when a fan inquired, “Is it true that Oasis will have a new album???”, Liam replied: “Yes, it’s already done.” He later indicated that there was a new entry “in the works,” implying that it was being prepared. However, he quickly retracted his statements, claiming to fans in November that “No Oasis Album” was in the works and that he was “just joking.” He has also addressed fake news surrounding his meetings with Noel in London.

The group recently reissued their fourth album “Standing on the Shoulder of Giants” to commemorate its 25th anniversary and engaged in a brief chart battle with Kendrick Lamar after a re-release of their classic single “Anything” threatened to take the number one spot after 31 years.

Oasis is set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year, alongside acts like New Order, The White Stripes, and Mariah Carey, though Liam has been quoted saying that the honor is “for wankers.”
