Announcement of New Album
NO NOVA GIRENTS has revealed their third studio album “Parasites and Butterflies”, set to launch on August 29 through Marshall Records.
Details About the Upcoming Single
The duo also introduced a new single, ‘Soprano’, and disclosed their British and European tour scheduled for Fall 2025. The album was recorded in Vermont, USA, under the guidance of producer Rich Kostya, renowned for his collaborations with Foo Fighters, Muse, Deftones, and Sam Fender.
Discussing the album, Amy Love and Georgia South shared: “Parasites and butterflies” serves as a conduit between chaos and beauty, reflecting the duality of both experiences. Supernova epitomized the superhuman expectations we faced. With “Parasites and Butterflies,” we aimed to showcase something profoundly human: the notion that vulnerability can inspire with its raw honesty. The album plays with contrasts, featuring themes of light and shadow, ensuring that listeners can experience joy, sorrow, introspection, or even escapism. Life embodies a perpetual balance, yet it is the embrace of the unknown that truly makes us feel alive.”
Regarding the new single “Soprano,” they added: “Soprano” represents a celebration of women’s empowerment, particularly when we come together. The industry often pits women against one another, and female voices have been subdued globally. Yet, we continue to rise! This song is about expanding horizons, fostering communication, and cultivating friendship, while promoting “boss energy” and uplifting one another.
