The initial run of the tour was announced back in January and featured 13 solo performances across Europe from June to August.

Due to high demand, additional shows have been incorporated into the schedule. A total of seven new dates have been confirmed in Italy, France, Macedonia, Germany, and Luxembourg later this year.

The first of these performances is set for Rochefort, France, on June 25, just days after the tour kicks off in Zurich and continues to Hamburg.

Following that, another new show will take place on July 16 at the summer festival in Mantova, Italy, right before the previously scheduled dates in Lucca, Pompey, Rome, and Cannes. The third new date is in Skopje, Macedonia, on August 22.

New Dates Added to the Tour

Four new performances have been scheduled for September, extending the tour by another month. This includes two concerts at Festspielhaus in Germany (September 4 and 5) and two final shows at the Philharmonie in Luxembourg City on September 10 and 11.

Colin Greenwood, best known as the bassist for Radiohead, will be joining Cave for the upcoming shows.

The artist has collaborated with Cave on numerous occasions, including various solo tours. He previously joined him for the celebration of the “Carnage” album in 2021 and the subsequent “Wild God” tour with the Bad Seeds.

Last year, Greenwood mentioned that he joined the group as a bassist after Martin Casey was unable to tour due to health issues.

“This is an amazing group of people to play music with. They are magnificent, with incredible drummers. It’s a really fun thing for me, as it’s not a radiologist. There are so many different colors in music, and I’m having a blast,” he commented.

Speaking of Cave, he mentioned: “He is such a wonderful storyteller, and I truly admire his piano playing.”

Last year, the “Wild God” received a four-star review from NME that stated: “Bad Seeds recordings are filled with gothic themes of death and darkness. However, they are still painted with many shades of life, complex and rich with a thirst for existence, allowing light to seep in.”

Following this, Cave announced he would share a global stream of one of his “Wild God” shows next month.
