Nia Archives Launches New Label
Nia Archives has unveiled a new recording label, UP Archives, which aims to showcase the Jungleism of the new generation alongside underground electronic music.
Celebrating New Beginnings
Producer Bradford is celebrating the launch of the label with a single titled “I Will” in collaboration with Bristol producer Cheetah.
“Achieving freedom means that you can liberate yourself with the crew. It’s all about not paying attention and not worrying too much about what others are doing; we just want to have fun!” the archive states.
Chepada adds, “The track came together quite organically. It’s essentially an ode to music and dance parties. The essence is being completely immersed in the sound, with your head lost in the rhythm and feeling the bass resonate from your ribs. It’s straightforward yet super energetic, and the lyrics are practically instructions.”
The label’s launch aligns with the debut of a new monthly show on Radio Radio Radious, hosted by Ya Archives, where archives and Cheetah will take the spotlight. Up Ya Archives aims to produce 8-12 releases each year, focusing on music within the 150-170 beats per minute range.
