Mogwai And Lankum Collaborate For A Unique Event

Mogwai and Lankum have announced a joint open performance taking place at Crystal Palace Park, London, as part of the festival scheduled for the south in 2025.

Performance Details

The show, set for August 7, will mark Mogwai’s only summer appearance in the UK and Lankum’s exclusive performance in London for 2025. This announcement comes on the heels of Mogwai’s recent release of their eleventh studio album, “The Bad Fire,” which features tracks like “Fanzine,” “God Will Return You,” and “Lion Rumpus.” The Glasgow-based group is expected to wrap up their North American tour in April and May ahead of the summer show.

Lankum has joined the lineup following their shortlist nomination for the Mercury Prize for their album, “False Lankum,” and their recent collaboration with Massive Attack for the Act 1.5 show in Bristol.

These two acts will add to the expanding roster for the southern event in 2025, which already includes performances by Nile Rogers, Shik, Basement Jaxx, and the Skeptic and Flashstock festival.
