Lead Single and Theme
The Brooklyn quartet also shared a powerful lead single “Cinderella,” accompanied by a video directed by Nathan Castiel, showcasing a band stepping into a surreal fairy tale as frontman Cole Heden sings: “In your eyes, I am naked/ screaming like a tornado in the dark/ I see how we lie facing face/ like St. Helens under the stars.”
“Cinderella encapsulates many aspects that will become the essence of Pirouette,” Heden remarked about the new track. “The song transitions between moments of tension and fluidity, dissonance and harmony: we aimed to craft something with an inherent brightness that diverged from all our previous works, generating light not by eliminating darkness, but by enhancing contrast.”

He added: “The lyrics emerged in response to this canvas and voiced an inner dialogue I once had during a date with a stunning man. This song reflects the acknowledgment of shame and pain I carried long after their relevance had faded.”
