Millie Bobby Brown’s Fun Interaction With Sabrina Carpenter

Millie Bobby Brown mentioned that Sabrina Carpenter had the idea to “arrest” her during one of the “short and sweet dates of the singer’s tour” last year.

A Stranger star was present at the Carpenter show in Atlanta in October last year, where the pair engaged in a light-hearted interaction in the middle of the performance, much to the delight of the audience.

Brown appeared on large screens during a segment where the pop star pretended to arrest a fan “for being too hot every night.” “It’s so regrettable that we must arrest you because you are so beautiful,” Carpenter told the actor. “This is suck.”

Following that, Brown playfully asked the singer to arrest her before proudly holding up fluffy pink handcuffs. The moment quickly went viral on social media (see below).

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Brown recounted that she texted Carpenter before the show, saying, “Can you arrest me?” to which the star replied, “I would love to arrest you.”

It’s worth noting that Carpenter has since pretended to arrest her producer Jack Antonoff, his wife Substance actor Margaret Qualley, and Saturday Night Live comedian Marcello Ernandes as part of his SNL character.

Brown attended Carpenter’s show in Atlanta while she was filming Stranger for its fifth and final season in the city at that time. The show concluded its last shooting in December.

Carpenter is set to begin the UK and European leg of her “Short N’ Sweet” tour next month, followed by a performance in London this summer. Find the remaining tickets here (Great Britain/Ireland)

She will also headline the Primavera Sound alongside Charli XCX and Chappell Roan in June.

Earlier this month, Carpenter won a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Performance (“Espresso”) and Best Pop Vocal Album (‘Short N’ Sweet’). She recently announced her luxurious release ‘Short N’ Sweet,’ featuring Dolly Parton, which is set to drop tomorrow (February 14).

In other news, the star is scheduled to perform at the Brit Awards next month in 2025, where she will receive the prestigious “Global Success” award. Additionally, she is working on the International Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year (Espresso) categories.

Carpenter also garnered praise from Madonna for her recent cover of Fashion magazine, thanks to collaboration with the long-standing photographer of the “Queen of Pop.”
