Miley Cyrus has revealed details about the visual film that accompanies her ninth studio album, “Something Beautiful.”
Visual Film Details
The new project features 13 original tracks performed by Cyrus alongside Shone Everett, who is recognized for his collaborations with Casey Magram and Alabams.
The visual film, co-directed by Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman, and Brendan Walter, is set to hit cinemas in June this year. In the film, Cyrus showcases designs from Thierry Mugler, Jean Paul Gauthier, and Alexander McQueen at various iconic locations in Los Angeles, including a segment filmed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Album Concept and Inspiration
Discussing the new album, Cyrus stated: “My idea was to ‘create a wall,’ but with the finest wardrobe, more glamour, and a touch of pop culture.” She described the project as “hypnotizing and glamorous,” noting, “This is a conceptual album that aims to address, in some measure, a troubled culture through music.”
This record follows the “endless summer holidays” of 2023, with “Something Beautiful” marking Cyrus’s first full-length release in 2025.
