Mia Folick Unveils Her New Album Titled “Erotica Veronica”

New Album Announcement

Mia Folick has unveiled her upcoming album “Erotica Veronica”, set to be released on February 28 through Nettwerk.

About the Album

Produced by the Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter herself, the album includes the lead single, 'Erotica', accompanied by a video directed by Antonio Marciale.

“Erotica” explores themes of fantasy and pleasure. It encompasses more than just sex; it embodies the richness of the experience, playfulness, connection, and a liberated approach to daily life,” she shares. “I believe society imposes certain rules on how fantasies should manifest, particularly in romantic relationships. In this regard, our culture tends to be quite puritanical. It is crucial for me to uphold my autonomy of thought, and expressing my fantasies candidly is an act of tenderness and intimacy.”

Reflecting on the album’s themes, she notes: “The album speaks to the experience of being gay within a heteronormative relationship framework and society, while also delving into desire and eroticism in a broader sense. We often don’t allow each other enough freedom to explore and discover our individual paths.”

The album features contributions from Sam KS as co-producer and drummer, along with Meg Duffy, Waylon Principal, Greg Ullmann on guitar, and Pat Kelly on bass.
