Mia Falik Delves into Rage and Healing with New Single “Fist” from Her Third Album

Mia Flik’s New Single

Mia Flik has released a new single 'Fist', which is part of his forthcoming spontaneous album “Erotic Veronica.”

Exploring Themes of the Album

This track precedes the album’s release on February 28 through Nettwerk, delving into themes of generational and sexual trauma. “A fist is rage,” Falik explains. “We are discussing sexual injury and generational trauma and its impact on our feelings of safety, self, and home. How does this affect our relationships? I wrote this song from a place of introspection, with a team that truly captured the essence of what I envisioned.”

Erotic Veronica features contributions from Sam K.S. as co-producer and drummer, alongside Meg Duffy, Waylon Rector, Greg Ulmann on guitar, and Pat Kelly on bass. This album follows the earlier works “Folk” and “Rouch.”

Regarding the album’s themes, Folick states: “This album addresses feeling out of place within the heteronormative structures of relationships and society, while also celebrating desire and eroticism as a whole. I believe we don’t provide each other enough space to explore and discover our true paths.”

The album includes previously released singles “La DA DA”, “Alaska”, “Erotica”, and “This Time”, along with new tracks such as “Felicity”, “Prism of Light”, “Hates Me”, “Hypergiant”, “Love He Wants Me to Be Dead,” and “Light Through Linen”.
