Melin Melyn Unveils New Single, “The Pigeon & Golden Egg.”

New Single Release

Melin Melyn have unveiled their latest single, “The Pigeon & The Golden Egg,” which is part of their forthcoming debut album, Mill On The Hill.

About the Album

The six-piece band from Wales delivers a fresh take on common sentimental phrases found on decor, aiming their sights at cliched messages such as “chin up, man up, live, laugh, love.”

Scheduled for release on March 7, “Mill On The Hill” combines elements of surf rock, country, prog rock, and psychedelia. This concept album transports listeners to the fictional “Meline Village,” where six millers produce music to operate their mill.

“Creusot! Welcome one and all to the magical world of Mill On The Hill. The yellow mill, perched atop a hill, gazes over the village of Melin and its amazing inhabitants. Everyone is welcome here,” declares Chief Miller Graff. “Don’t be deceived, this is no ordinary mill. Our duty is to generate music at the mill for all the villagers of Melin and for anyone who wishes to hear it. After all, who can envision a world without music?”

Band Biography and Tour Dates

Established in 2019 by Graff Glyn, Will Barratt, Kai Diefan, and Garmon Rees, the group expanded with the addition of Rhodri Brooks and Dylan Morgan. They have already released three singles from the album: “Vitamin D,” “Fantastic Food,” and “Promished Land.”
