Meghan Markle thanks Billie Eilish
Meghan Markle expressed her gratitude to Billie Eilish after the singer sent items to a fan who lost a T-shirt from one of her concerts due to the forest fires in Los Angeles.

The Duchess of Sussex shared a video on Instagram, thanking Eilish for her kind gesture after Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, met with a mother and her 15-year-old daughter whose home was destroyed in the fires.
“Her mother told me that when they returned to their house for the first time, the only thing she was searching for was a T-shirt from Billie Eilish, which she simply couldn’t find,” said Markle.
She continued, “I said, ‘I don’t know Billie Eilish, but I will find a way to get you that shirt.’ So, I thought of everyone I knew and sent a voice note asking, ‘Can someone help me get this shirt from Billie Eilish? That’s my request.’”
Markle mentioned that she directly reached out to the singer with a voice message, asking if she could send a replacement shirt. With the assistance of Maroon 5’s Adam Levine and his wife Behati Prinsloo, Eilish responded by sending not just a T-shirt, but an entire package of items, including a signed note.
Holding the goods, she said: “To everyone who shows up for people in big and small ways, during what happened in California, thank you so much. I’m going to email her mother now. I just wanted to share this with you guys.”
Eilish played a vital role in supporting those affected by the forest fires in Los Angeles, collaborating with Green Day for a lively performance of “Last Night on Earth” at a recent Fire Benefit concert, and also performing at the event with her brother Finneas.
She quickly shared links to resources on social media when the forest fires first ignited.

Meanwhile, despite not winning a Grammy earlier this week, Eilish performed “Birds of a Feather” with her brother at the ceremony in Los Angeles.
