Megan Ogleby Page has been appointed as the head of the operations department at the British Association of Digital Entertainment and Retail Trade (ERA).
Ogleby-Page describes ERA as “the driving force standing behind the Day Store House for more than ten years” in the UK.
This new role gives her oversight of all ERA operations, reporting directly to General Director Kim Bailey.
Background and Achievements
Ogleby-Pige joined the ERA straight from university in 2014. During her time as a leading coordinator and driver for Day Store Day, ERA has touted itself as “the most successful new music platform in the UK of the 21st century,” with additional sales through indie advertising stores reaching approximately 10 million pounds last year.
Key highlights include the sponsorship of Elton John (2017) and Kate Bush (2024) as ambassadors of the day of sound recordings, forging partnerships with brands like Bowers & Wilkins and Studio Miraval, and collaborating closely with BBC 6 Music and Warchild.
Ogleby-Page was instrumental in launching the National Album Day in 2018, a collaborative effort between ERA and the Trade Association BPI.
More recently, she spearheaded a new initiative aimed at recognizing and nurturing new executive talent in the digital entertainment and retail sectors.
“Megan is a force of nature, and she has more than proven herself in the realm of record store day. I am thrilled that she will now have the chance to apply her skills to the broader activities of ERA.”
Kim Bailey, ERA
ERA General Director Kim Bailey commented: “This is an incredibly deserved promotion. Megan is indeed a force of nature and has repeatedly demonstrated her capabilities in sound recordings.”
“I am excited to now represent all our streaming, main, and internet participants, as well as the independents I have advocated for over the last decade.”

Megan added: “The industry we are proud to represent at ERA has transformed the entertainment landscape over the last decade and brought it back to growth. I am grateful to the board of directors of ERA, especially Kim Bailey, for their trust and mentorship.”
The next Record Store Day is scheduled for April 12, 2025, featuring 430 exclusive releases and 275 participating independent stores.
Ogleby-Pige was recognized in the British Music Week’s 2018 Women in Music Roll of Honour, awarded Young Achiever of the Year (Trade Association 2018), and was the runner-up for Young Business Person of the Year (Small Business Awards 2017).
Currently, she is pursuing an MBA while fulfilling her responsibilities at ERA and will officially take on the role of Head of Operations on April 1, 2025.
