Matilda Mann Unveils New Single “Just Cause” in Anticipation of Her Debut Album, Roxwell.

New Single Release

Matilda Mann has unveiled a new single titled ‘Just Because’ from her much-anticipated debut album “Roxwell”, set to be released on February 28th via number 7476.

Songwriting Journey

The track was co-produced by Jonah Summerfield. “’Just Because’ was a song that seemed to take forever to write,” Mann explains. “Jonah and I crafted a verse and a chorus that felt new and exciting—fun and sassy—but something about it didn’t feel complete.”

“After leaving it alone for about a year, we decided to spend just 10 minutes to see if we could find something naturally. Almost instantly, we came up with a chorus that felt like the perfect missing piece. Just because someone believes it’s love doesn’t mean it truly was.”

Album Insights

Discussing the album, Mann shares, “This is my debut album. Each song is a part of me, and I’m thrilled it’s finally being released. It delves into various forms of love, the journey of growing up, reflection on the past, grappling with the inability to give everything to someone, feeling trapped in memories, and coming to terms with things beyond our control.”

The singer-songwriter recently opened for Wallows at Alexandra Palace and collaborated with Bombay Bicycle Club on their single ‘Fantasneeze’.
