New Single Release
Martin Luke Brown has unveiled a new single titled to be a man, which is set to be featured on his upcoming album ‘Man, dude! scheduled for release on February 21.
Exploring Modern Masculinity
This track delves into the theme of modern masculinity with a LO-Fi production style, following his recent tour across the United States, where he supported Emily King, as well as his upcoming shows in Great Britain and Europe alongside Sam Tompkins.
“I wanted to write something centered around the notion of being a man,” Brown shares. “Considering the context, I will be the sole male in Fizz, surrounded by remarkably talented women in an incredibly vibrant and high-energy environment — it became essential to reconnect with those aspects of myself that I had subconsciously pushed aside. Many modern individuals grapple with a variety of issues, and we seldom discuss men’s mental health. I believe it’s crucial to highlight male vulnerability and compassion.”
“To be a man” follows previous singles like “Animal,” “This is me,” and “Hello!,” all of which will be included in the album “Man, dude!”. The album was crafted with producer Matt Zura utilizing analog techniques, with each track written and recorded in just one day.
Brown has also announced a series of in-store performances to celebrate the album’s release.
