Mandrake Handshake Releases New 8-Minute Single Ahead of Debut Album “Worlds Size from the Earth”

New single release

Mandrit’s handshake has unveiled a fresh single titled “Hypersonic Super Astroy,” serving as the final preview of their debut album “Earth,” which is set to be released through Tip Top Recordings on February 21.

Anticipation builds for debut album

This new track is a revised version of their first single and comes as the band gears up for their inaugural full-length album. The Oxford group has also released previous singles, including “Comet Charlie,” “King Kun,” and “Changes and Changes.”

Hypersonic Super-Astroy tells the tale of the origins of the Mandrit handshake: the protease fibers that compose our genetic makeup. “Our song draws inspiration from live performances akin to Stereolab and envisions a utopian society,” the band elaborates. “This track signifies our journey into the Mandrit handshake—a vivid representation of our musical aspirations, like rays of light piercing through our eyelids. Being our first single ever released and performed at every live show, Hypersonic Super-Astroy now arrives updated, reimagined, and presented in widescreen technological sound for the first time.”
