New Single Release
Man/woman/chainsaw shares a new single 'Maddog', which has been released as part of the limited series 7″ via SO Young Records.
Collaboration and Inspiration
The London-based group recorded the track with producers Seth Evans and Margot Brol at Rak Studios. This release marks the second half of the double A-side, following their previous single “Adam & Steve.”
Discussing the new track, Vera Leppanen explains: “A crazy dog tells the story of losing a friend and witnessing their transformation into someone you never expected. We composed the song in two parts – both angry and sad/nostalgic – and recorded it quickly, which was quite a novel experience for us.”
The band, which recently celebrated its 100th live performance, released its debut EP EAZY PEAZY in November, recorded with Daniel Fox from Gilla Band at Echo Zoo Studio in Eastbourne.
