New Album Announcement
Magnolia Park has revealed that their third album, 'Vamp', is set to be released via Epitaph Records on April 11. The Orlando-based quintet also debuted a fresh single titled 'CULT'.
Concept and Themes
This latest offering is a neo-Gothic conceptual album that weaves a narrative focused on NOCTURNE Nexus, where rulers and rebels vie for dominance. The storyline follows Aurora X1, a semi-rod, half-Korborg warrior, navigating an anti-utopian landscape.
“Cult is a song about finding strength within an oppressive system created by individuals to inspire others to do what is right and not to misuse that power,” the group describes. “This reflects our history, where Aurora and vampires must stand against a formidable oppressive force known as the ‘shadow cult’.”
“Vamp” includes eleven tracks developed by the band in collaboration with Andrew Wade, Hiram Ernandez, and Andy Karpovk, featuring mixing by Chervini Jacket.
