Macy Gray’s Exit from The Masked Singer
Macy Gray is gone from The Masked Singer yesterday (January 11) after the jury voted to eliminate her from the competition.
Reaction to Her Elimination
After reaching the finals, the singer-songwriter, dressed as Toad In The Hole, was ultimately sent home from the ITV1 show, leading her to leave the stage before her identity was revealed. You can watch the moment below.
Judges Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, and Love Island presenter Maya Jama were left stunned by her exit before presenter Joel Dommett announced she would return to the stage.
When she was unmasked on stage, Gray didn’t appear impressed and answered most questions with one word.
Viewers online quickly commented on her reaction, with one writing: “Absolutely furious” and another adding: “Macy Gray was furious.”

Gray previously participated in the Australian version of the series, The Masked Singer, in 2021, where she performed as Atlantis. Two years later, she finished fourth in the American series as the Sea Queen. Her UK appearance marked the first time anyone had competed in three different versions of The Masked Singer.
The latest series of the show kicked off last Saturday (January 4) with six contestants showcasing their talents. The remaining six took the stage in tonight’s next episode, which featured two celebrities.
Spag Bol was identified as Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway after performing Geri Halliwell’s “Look At Me”. It was later revealed that Pegasus was Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith, who performed “Oh, What A Beautiful Mornin'” from the musical Oklahoma!
Other characters from this year’s series of The Masked Singer include pufferfish, bear, wolf, and bush.
