Luvkat releases new video
Luvkat has unveiled a new video for her single “Dinner at Brasserie Zédel” after a series of sold-out shows in November, including performances with The Last Dinner Party and Paris Paloma.
Video inspiration
The video, influenced by her time as a waitress in Liverpool, transforms a humble cafe into a captivating theatrical experience. Drawing inspiration from Withnail & I, Malena, Twin Peaks, and The Cure’s “Lullaby,” the visuals feature a Lynchian aesthetic, a drunken marching band, and a striking golden microphone.
“I wrote this song about a man I liked and how all I wanted was for him to take me out for shrimp cocktail at Zédels,” Luvkat shares. “The music descends into madness… much like when we become obsessed with each other.”
“Dinner @ Brasserie Zédel” marks Luvkat’s third single, following “He’s My Man” and “Matador,” both released over the summer.
