This project will mark Dacus’s fourth studio album, and her first since the critically acclaimed release of Boygenius’s album, The Record, last year.
As a follow-up to Dacus's latest album, Home Video, her forthcoming release displays a more mature perspective, enriched by themes of sexuality and romance as she moves away from her youth.
The album is set to be released on March 28 via Polydor. The artwork features Dacus, illustrated by the acclaimed artist Will St. John, and the tracklist includes collaborations with Hozier, Blake Mills, Bartis Strange, Madison Cunningham, Colleen Pastore, Jake Finch, and Melina Duterte. Furthermore, her fellow Boygenius members, Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker, will also contribute.

Single Highlights
The first new single, “Ankles,” is a vibrant track that exemplifies the album’s uplifting essence.
Initially conceived as a ballad, it ultimately features rich, textured drums, guitars, an energizing bass line, and electronic elements, capturing the playful and sometimes frustrating dynamics of mutual attraction.
“So bite my shoulder, pull my hair.,” Dacus sings. “Pull me by my ankles to the edge of the bed and take me like in a dream.” Watch the music video below, featuring Havana Rose Liu.
The second single, “Limerence,” presents a softer and more ethereal sound, embodying the powerful emotions Dacus explores throughout the album.
“I was struck with intense emotions. I fall in love, I fall out of love,” Dacus shared, reflecting on her creative process. “You have to destroy things to create things. And I ruined a really wonderful life.”
“You can’t really shoot forever,” she added. “But I think that in moments we feel eternity. I don’t know how much time I’ve spent in my entire life, but I know I’ve been.”
