New Music and Future Plans

Back in September, the band released the single “Fatal Deluxe,” which they stated “marks the official opening of the second chapter of LS Dunes.” Additionally, they are set to launch their second album, “Violet”, on January 31st via Fantasy Records.

This record will follow their debut album, “Past Lives,” released in 2022. Speaking to NME about the upcoming album, Iero mentioned that the recording process during the pandemic brought numerous challenges, yet “nothing could stop us” due to their strong bond as a group.

Rule highlighted how the formation of the group felt like a rebirth. “We come from punk and hardcore, which has always been against the rules,” he remarked.

He added: “Thursday and My Chemical Romance stopped playing for a long time, as did Circa Survive. It's a second chance for many of us in the band,” with Iero affirming, “It's a rebirth for all of us together.”

In other news, LS Dunes ignited some controversy last year after they employed artificial intelligence in the music video for their track “Old Wounds.”

“LS Dunes and its members have a long history of supporting and championing artists of all kinds,” they conveyed in response to the criticism.

“Whether you like it or not, the choice is yours—that’s the way it should be,” they concluded in their statement. “We know we can’t always please everyone.”
