Loyle Carner Unveils New Album “I Hope!” Alongside World Tour Dates

New Album Announcement

Loyle Carner has revealed his upcoming album titled “I hope!” along with an extensive world tour. He is also sharing a double single, “everything that I need/in my mind.”

Exploring Themes in Music

The latest record by the British artist is set to release on June 20 through Island EMI, following his 2022 album, Hugo, which earned him a second nomination for the Mercury Award and became his second top album.

This forthcoming LP delves into themes such as paternity, childhood, and alternative music, as Carner broadens his artistic spectrum, taking on production duties, singing, and creating what he refers to as “a group of his dreams.” The album aims to deliver an inspiring message, offering listeners a more personal insight into his life.

The newly released double single showcases multiple facets of Carner’s talent. “Everything I need” features a delicate, somber melody paired with lyrics that embrace the beauty of life’s simple pleasures, while “in my mind” draws on the 90s hip-hop influence, tackling themes of introspection and uncertainty.

With ‘hope!’, fans can look forward to another chapter in Carner’s discography, following his EP from 2013 “A little late” and albums “Yesterday’s Gone” (2017), “I don’t wave, but drown” (2019), and “Hugo” (2022).

World Tour Details

In conjunction with the album announcement, Carner has disclosed plans for a world tour, including a confirmed headlining slot at Glastonbury. The tour will span Europe, Great Britain, Australia, and North America.
