New Studio Launch
Camden Spot announced a new partnership on Thursday (February 6), featuring a Coca-Cola sound recording studio located within the Coco house.
Set to open on March 10, the studio will function as a “creative house for beginner artists full-time,” providing free time and resources. Selected artists will also have the opportunity to perform on one of Coco’s stages.
According to Seb Croft, managing director of Koko Studios: “As a long-standing independent venue, Coco has always taken risks in supporting new talent because we believe in them, even when others may not. This partnership with the iconic brand Coca-Cola is invaluable, allowing us to assist artists like never before.”

“The presence of such a dynamic platform in one building, where artists can create, record, and perform, will usher in an exciting new era of creativity for Coco.”
This partnership will also feature an exclusive Coca-Cola box at the Koko Theater, offering chances for enhanced concert experiences, as well as priority access and premium viewing for over 250 shows annually.
In 2022, Coco reopened as “a modern venue for live music, covering 50,000 square feet, designed to provide an unparalleled experience for live music fans.”
The venue was closed in 2019 for a planned £70 million renovation, but in January 2020, a fire incident disrupted progress, alongside the long-lasting impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Key features of the revamped Koko include state-of-the-art broadcasts, recording opportunities, and live streams, along with a four-story expansion housing the Koko studio.
“After three long and transformative years of construction, I am delighted to announce that next spring we will bring Coco back to musicians, artists, and fans with a fully restored theater and live music experience, which we hope will be a truly unique and unmatched experience for everyone who walks through the doors,” stated general director and founder Ollie Bengou at that time.
“We remain as committed as ever to protecting our 120-year cultural heritage and supporting the next generation of musicians and the vibrant, ever-growing music scene in London.”
