LNER Unveils Electric Line for Oasis Wembley Reunion Concert, Promising “Surprises Onboard”

Train Company Lner Announces Special Electric Route

Train Company Lner announced a special Electric route for Oasis First Wembley Reunion this summer.

Travel Details for Fans

The operator, who controls the main trains on the east coast between Edinburgh Waverley and Kings Cross, promised a “series of surprises on board” for fans traveling from Edinburgh to the capital for the show on July 25.

The Service “She Electric” will leave Edinburgh Waverley at 9 in the morning and will arrive at Kings Cross in time for dinner. The service stops in Newcastle, Darlington, Northallerton, York, Doncaster, Newark Northgate, and Peterborough.

Kings Cross is of particular importance for Oasis, given that their first London concert was in a neighboring pub, while the video for “Supersonic” was shot on the roof of a nearby building, using the station as a backdrop.

“There are many Oasis fans in Lner, and we could not allow the first London concert without acknowledging this event. There will be several surprises on board that, we hope, will make our customers feel like rock stars. Although our trains may not be supersonic, they will get Oasis fans to London faster than a cannonball.”

Oasis Tour Announcement

The upcoming Oasis tour will mark Liam and Noel Gallagher performing on stage together for the first time in 16 years. Currently, the tour includes several concerts at Heaton Park in Manchester, Wembley Stadium in London, Cardiff Stadium, Dublin’s Krock Park, and the stadium in Edinburgh at Murrayfield.

As fans eagerly await the tour starting on July 4 in Cardiff, sources close to the group told NME that the band will feature Andy Bell, Gem Archer, Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, and Zak Starkey, alongside Noel and Liam Gallagher.

Meanwhile, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has warned that Ticketmaster may have “violated the law” and “misled fans” during the sale of OASIS tickets last summer.

The consultation followed disputes related to the sale of Oasis Live ’25 tickets, which left thousands of fans frustrated as ticket prices appeared to surge unexpectedly due to demand. Both the CMA and the European Commission are investigating this matter.

Oasis stated that they were “unaware of any issues” with the ticket sales, claiming that “previous meetings between promoters, Ticketmaster, and the band’s management led to a positive strategy for ticket sales, aiming to create a fair experience for fans, including dynamic pricing to assist in ticket availability while reducing customer dissatisfaction.”
