Little Simz has released a new single titled ‘For Free’, the second offering from her upcoming sixth album ‘Lotus.’
Exploring Themes of Love and Fear
This new track, initially penned as a poem, delves into themes of love and fear, with production contributions from Miles Clinton James. “Love will never judge you from your pain,” Simz expresses through the instrumental backdrop.
“For Free” follows her previous single “Flood,” which features collaborations with Obongjayar and Lunchilda Sanelli, along with a video directed by Salomon Ligelm. Both tracks provide early insights into ‘Lotus’, a title that represents personal growth and thematic exploration.
Upcoming Festival Appearance
Additionally, Little Simz has been named the curator for the 30th festival at the Southbank Centre. This 11-day event will feature performances from artists including Sasha Kabel, Lola Young, Getts, and John Bapast, with Little Simz set to perform alongside the resident Chineke! Orchestra.
