Little Simz Announces First Artists for Meltdown Festival at the Southbank Centre

Little Simz has unveiled the initial lineup of artists set to perform at the MeltDown festival, taking place at the Southbank Centre in London from June 12 to 22.

Lineup Highlights

The Streets, led by Mike Skinner, will kick off the festival at the Royal Festival Hall on June 12. The venue will also host performances from Lola Young, a nominee for the British Prize, on June 17; Ghetts, winner of the MOBO Awards, on June 18; and John Battiste, a multi-Grammy and Academy Award winner, on June 21.

Queen Elizabeth Hall will feature British singer-songwriter Sasha Keeble with the Flames Collective on June 14, along with the vocalist Yuki of the band Little Dragon on June 18.

Little Simz will wrap up the festival on June 22 with a special performance alongside the Chineke! orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall, showcasing material from her upcoming sixth album, “Lotus”.

“My team and I are preparing eleven days filled with art, music, seminars, and much more. It’s a true honor to be part of this festival featuring so many incredible artists. Thank you for your support,” says Little Simz.

The festival will also feature the “Young Producers” initiative, showcasing emerging talent from across London, who will organize events and performances in public spaces.
