Lisa Announces Comic Release
Lisa Blackpink has revealed the launch of comics to accompany her upcoming solo debut album, “Alter Ego”.
Partnership and Story Insight
The Blackpink rapper shared the establishment of the new Lalisa Comics venture in collaboration with Zero Zero Entertainment. The initial project will feature a 56-page graphic novel titled Alter Ego: The Official Comic.
Written by Lisa herself, the illustrated comic will provide fans with an in-depth look at five characters represented by Lisa for Alter Ego: Viksi, Roxy, Kiki, Sunny, and Speepa, through the comic’s narrative.
“When three ruthless hooligans trap Vixi in a virtual reality nightmare, her friends dive into the digital battlefield,” the product description states on the website, emphasizing that while Viksi can fight alone, she never has to face her battles solo.
The graphic novel is currently available for pre-order and is set to launch on March 24, just shy of a month after the release of the Alter Ego album on February 28.

Lisa recently released “Born Alight,” featuring Raye and Doja Cat, which is the fourth single from her upcoming album. This marked her first musical release of 2025, after a busy 2024 that saw the release of three other singles: “Rockstar,” “New Woman” featuring Rosalia, and “Lunar Paul.”
“New Woman” was hailed by NME as one of the top 25 K-Pop songs of 2024, with Mika Chen stating, “From the charismatic presence of Rosalia to the mischievous lightness of the preliminary chorus, ‘New Woman’ easily became one of the most intoxicating tracks of the year.”
Additionally, Lisa made her small-screen debut in the third season of White Lotus. In a recent interview regarding her role in the series, she mentioned that the audition process was “not easy.”
