Blackpink Lisa’s New Single

The singer Blackpink Lisa released a new single called “Born Eating” in cooperation with Doja Cat and Raye.

The new song, along with the accompanying music video, was released on February 6, marking the first release of the Thai K-Pop Idol in 2025. “Born Again” features both Doja Cat and Raye, who also appear alongside Lisa in the music video.

“Born from above” marks the fourth track released from Lisa’s upcoming debut solo album, “Alter Ego,” which will be fully released on February 28. This album represents her first solo effort since she and the rest of Blackpink decided not to renew their contracts with the long-standing label YG Entertainment. She plans to launch her own label, Lloud, in February 2024.

“Alter Ego” was first announced in November 2024, after she spent a year releasing three singles: “Rockstar,” “New Woman” featuring Rosalia, and “Lunar Paul.” All of these tracks will appear on the album. “Alter Ego” will be her first full project under the Lloud label in partnership with RCA Records.

“New Woman” was named by NME as one of the 25 best K-Pop songs of 2024. “From the charismatic flair of Rosalía to the playful airiness of the initial chorus, ‘New Woman’ offers a lot, effortlessly establishing itself as one of the most captivating tracks of the year,” writes NMA‘s Mika Chen.

In addition to her future music, Lisa is also set to make her acting debut in the upcoming third season of HBO’s White Lotus, which is located in her native country, Thailand. New episodes will be available for streaming on the MAX network, starting February 16.
