New Music and Collaborations

Recently released was “Dum, Dumb and Dumber,” a collaboration between the Atlanta rapper and trap legends from his latest album “WHAM.” This track includes Thug’s first verse since his release from prison in October and quickly gained popularity among fans.

In a recent feature of Spotify’s One Day in the Life series, Baby expressed excitement over future collaborations with his musical counterparts. “Me and Future worked on a record together. We’re almost done with the recording,” he stated. “And Slime (Young Bandit) is back now; you know he’s eager to get started.”

He elaborated: “The idea actually came from Thug. While he was in prison, he mentioned, ‘Yeah, call Pluto (Future). I want y’all to work on a tape together.’ He even suggested a name for the record before he was released.”

“Now that it’s released, he’s like, ‘I’m on tape.’ We might have something significant in the works. I’m not exactly sure what it will be yet, but it’s definitely in development. We’ve created many songs already. Thug is a studio rat: he spends all his time there. Together, we’ve penned 10 songs.”

Details About Upcoming Albums

The “Yes, Really” rapper also shared with fans that his fifth studio album, “Dominic,” is expected to be released in February. He described “WHAM” as embodying a youthful vibe characterized by fast cars, girls, jewelry, and money. In contrast, “Dominic” is said to reflect a more serious and personal journey. “This is a part of my new path. I’m not fond of the term vulnerable, but I plan to be more honest with my fans and audience,” he explained.

Baby also mentioned other projects on the horizon, like a compilation album titled “Can’t Be F***ed With” under his 4PF label, featuring collaborations with Rylo Rodriguez, Lil Quill, and Beezy.

Released on January 3, “WHAM” received three stars from NME, who remarked that “the record has potential” to “become a trap masterpiece, but potential alone cannot create a legacy.”

In other developments, Future is facing a copyright infringement lawsuit regarding his track “Telekinesis,” which is part of Travis Scott’s “Utopia,” featuring SZA. The Roc Nation artist claims the trio appropriated lyrics and elements from her song without authorization.

Additionally, fans speculate that Young Thug referred to Gunna as a “rat” in his first piece of new music since his release from prison.
