Liam Gallagher Responds to Oasis Ticket Cancellations, Claims He “Doesn’t Care”

Response to Ticket Abolitions

Liam Gallagher has responded to the recent cancellation of thousands of tickets for the upcoming Oasis events, addressing concerns about Ticketmaster’s difficulties with bots and ticket distributions.

New Ticketing Guidelines

The cancellations are part of an initiative by Live Nation and SJM to tackle issues related to ticket sales, with approximately 50,000 tickets surfacing on secondary markets. The companies have confirmed that all tickets sold through these secondary channels, barring certain exceptions, will be revoked and reissued through Ticketmaster at face value.

In response to fan concerns regarding the cancellation of legitimate tickets, Gallagher posted on X: “I do not make the rules. We are trying to do the right thing. This is how it is, I am a singer. Take away my business.”

Customer Guidance and Special Guests

Ticketmaster has advised affected customers to check their FAQ page titled “Oasis Compensation.” A representative stated: “For customers who believe their tickets were canceled by mistake, our expert teams have reviewed all sales and identified any bot activity. We cannot provide extensive details to avoid giving further information to the entities using bots.”

Gallagher also confirmed that there will be no special guests joining the band during performances, responding to fans with: “None of this nonsense.”
