Oasis Reunion Announcement
Oasis announced their return to the stage in August of last year, confirming a series of major stadium shows in the UK and Ireland scheduled for 2025.
In response to the high demand for tickets, the band subsequently revealed plans for a world tour, including dates across North America, South America, Australia, South Korea, and Japan.
As expected, there has been much speculation regarding which members will accompany Liam and Noel during the monumental shows, with fans eagerly guessing which songs from their extensive catalog may feature on the setlist.
Recently, a set of Oasis songs began circulating on X/Twitter, with some fans asserting it was a “leaked” setlist for the upcoming performances. The list even caught Liam Gallagher’s attention, prompting the frontman to inquire about its authenticity.
When a fan forwarded the list to him, he replied on X, confirming that although it wasn’t an official setlist created by the band, “it’s not far off.”

According to reports, the band will kick off the shows with “Acquiesce” followed by classics such as “Some Might Say”, “Lyla”, “Shakermaker”, and “The Hindu Times”.
During the middle of the concert, the brothers are expected to perform tracks like “She’s Electric”, “Stand By Me”, “Stop Crying Your Heart Out”, “The Importance of Being Idle”, “Half the World Away”, “Whatever”, “Slide Away”, “Supersonic”, and “Morning Glory”.
In total, the setlist is projected to include 21 songs, concluding with iconic tracks like “Rock and Roll Star,” “Cigarettes and Alcohol,” “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Live Forever,” and “Champagne Supernova.”
While Liam didn’t provide further details on the setlist or confirm which elements of the “leaked” list were accurate, he did respond to another fan who inquired about the inclusion of any of his solo songs.
In response to the question, “Which solo song of yours would you include in an Oasis live setlist?” the singer issued a straightforward one-word reply: “No.”

Future Plans and Speculations
While details regarding the songs Oasis plans to perform on their upcoming tour remain scarce, it is reasonable to believe Liam’s assertion that the setlist will echo a fan-generated compilation may hold some truth.
For instance, prior to the formal announcement of the reunion, Liam openly wrote in response to a fan’s query about the reunion dates: “Nxt Friday”, a remark many fans initially dismissed as mere jest.
Moreover, in a 2020 interview with NME, Liam stated that an Oasis reunion would “happen very soon,” while Noel explained in early 2023 that he would “never say never” to the notion.
Additionally, Liam allegedly alerted fans about the potential for Oasis to reunite and produce new material last April—over four months before official confirmation—when he indicated that he and Noel would begin working on new material in November.
It remains unverified whether the Britpop legends have any new material to share or if they have been recording together in the studio.
Concerning future performances, there has yet to be any indication of who will be supporting Liam and Noel on stage. Some previous reports suggested that “none of the original Oasis members will be joining the reunion” and that “members of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will participate in the shows,” though this seems improbable.

In other Oasis news last month, Blossoms disclosed that even Noel Gallagher’s daughter Anais was unaware of the reunion, while Liam hinted once more at new material, stating, “an album could happen if we finish this tour and are nice to each other.”
