2025 Nominees for Rock -N -Roll Hall of Fame

The nominees for 2025 in the Rock -N -Roll Hall of Fame were revealed on February 12, with 14 new names added to the Longlist. Notable additions include The Gallagher Brothers, Cyndi Lauper, Mariah Carey, The White Stripes, and more.

Artists become eligible for induction 25 years after their first commercial recording release. Other names on the Longlist include grunge legends Soundgarden, hip-hop icons Outkast, Bad Company, and The Black Crowes.

Liam’s Ongoing Controversy with the Hall of Fame

Following the news of Oasis’s nomination, Liam took to his official X/Twitter account to voice his opinion, stating: “The RNR Hall of Fame is intended for Wankers.” One fan responded, asking, “What are you going to do if you win?” to which the “Wonderwall” hitmaker replied, “Contact and say that this is the best when.”

This isn’t Liam’s first conflict with the prestigious Hall. Last year, he criticized the Rock -N -Roll Hall of Fame during discussions on social media after Oasis was nominated. “Damn the Hall of Glory Rock -N -Roll, it is full of Bumbaclats LG,” he commented on X/Twitter at the time in response to the news.

The former frontman also advised users planning to vote in favor of not “wasting their time,” adding that “just as it is valued, this is all the burns of Bolks.”

When asked about receiving the “God -Logical Genius” award in 2018, he remarked: “I mean that you cannot turn such things.”

A few weeks after his comments, Liam altered his stance on the Hall. In an interview with The Sunday Times, he stated, “No matter how much I love Mariah Carey and all that, I want to say: do me a favor and dares.”

“It’s the same as placing me in the RAP Hall of Fame, and I do not want to be part of everything that mentally violated. Additionally, I’ve contributed more to rock -N -roll than half of them clowns on this board, so this is all a bunch of Bollock.”

In other news, Liam Gallagher recently responded after Ticketmaster canceled thousands of tickets for the OASIS reunion show.

Tickets for the British shows went on sale in August, but approximately 50,000 tickets ended up on the resale market despite efforts to curb high prices. In response, Live Nation and SJM confirmed that all tickets sold through secondary sites other than Twickets would be canceled and resold through Ticketmaster at face value.

However, this process was far from smooth. Over the weekend, fans took to social media, claiming their tickets were illegally canceled despite being purchased legitimately.

This morning, Liam addressed a fan’s inquiry about the ticket situation by stating, “I do not constitute the rule. We are trying to do the right thing. This is what it is, I am a singer. Get off my business.”
