Legal Objection Filed
In New Dzhans/NJZ, a legal objection was submitted against the recent judicial ban imposed on Ador, which prevents the K-POP group from engaging in independent activities.
Statement from Parents
On March 21, the same day the Seoul Central District Court ruled in favor of Ador and granted the company a lawsuit concerning the group’s independent endeavors, the objection was presented.
The parents of the group members released a statement regarding the court’s decision, stating: “We believe that the ruling did not fully consider the complete breakdown of trust that the members experienced in relation to Ador.”
The group emphasized that they “did not have sufficient opportunity to fully present their case to the court” due to the “urgent nature of the trial,” highlighting that only one hearing took place before the verdict.
“Moreover, due to the disparity in information between Ador and Hybe, the latter had full access to all the details regarding the participants’ entertainment activities, while the members were forced to reach out individually to request information,” they explained. “The pressure of participating in the trial, coupled with fears of retaliation, also hindered many from cooperating.”
They further stated: “First and foremost, until exclusive contracts are terminated, we have diligently fulfilled our obligations without any violations. Conversely, Ador and Hybe, behind the scenes, have continued to treat us unfairly and unequally, ultimately destroying the trust between us. It is only a matter of time before the truth comes to light.”
The group performed at Complexcon Hong Kong on March 23, where they debuted their new Pitstop track and announced a hiatus in compliance with the court’s decision.
