LCD SoundSystem has announced additional dates for their 2025 North America tour.

Upcoming Performances

In January, James Murphy and his band revealed plans for a spring tour across the United States, leading up to their European festival appearances this summer, which include shows at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and We Love Green in Paris.

The tour kicks off with a performance in Austin at the end of this month, after which they will visit cities like San Diego, Dallas, and New Orleans. Furthermore, the group announced their summer residency in London for 2025, where they will take over the O2 Brixton Academy for eight nights. They also revealed plans for upcoming joint performances at the Hollywood Bowl with Pulp.

Today (April 9), they added 13 new shows to their 2025 schedule, with the next phase beginning on August 7 in Seattle, covering cities such as Milwaukee, Columbus, Detroit, and Toronto, alongside additional support acts scheduled for select dates.

The new wave of dates follows the iconic New York group completing their annual December “winter series” in New York. The concerts come after the release of “X-Ray Eyes” in November, which marks their first new material since the “new Rhumba body” track from the 2022 Noah Baumbach film White Noise, succeeding their return album in 2017, American Dream, which followed a seven-year hiatus after 2010’s This Is Happening.

The song serves as the lead single for the anticipated new LCD SoundSystem album, reported to be released sometime next year. Along with the debut of “X-Ray Eyes,” Murphy provided an update about the forthcoming record, stating, “Don’t ask me when it’s coming out because we are still working on it. But it feels great to be releasing new music.”

Last year, LCD SoundSystem captivated the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury as the sun set, receiving a five-star review from NME that praised, “The filled field of the pyramid held each other tightly and lifted to the sky, as the tenth LCD boot masterclass seamlessly concluded with ‘All My Friends’.
