Lawyers Reveal Didi is Set to Face Over 10 New Trials in the Coming Days

Allegations Against Didi

According to a lawyer representing dozens of his alleged victims.

In September last year, Didi was arrested and accused of crimes, including sexual trade and racketeering. Since then, he has been held in a federal prison in his hometown in anticipation of a court trial, which is set to begin on May 5.

Didi has repeatedly refused bail during his trial, with the first denial occurring after he offered a bond of $50 million (£38.4 million). Subsequently, he was placed on suicide watch.

Upcoming Legal Actions

Now Tony Buzby’s lawyer has stated that in the next seven to ten days, more lawsuits will be filed. This announcement came after he submitted another legal case in New York on behalf of an unnamed individual who claims to have been attacked in 2015.

The lawsuit alleges that an anonymous prosecutor, who was performing at an event attended by Combs, was assaulted at a party afterward.

Furthermore, the plaintiff claims that while he was drifting in and out of consciousness, he witnessed Combs and others allegedly engaging in “group sexual activity” with participants who appeared “either on drugs, unconscious, or as if they were being escorted.”

The Combs legal team has denied all charges against him and issued a statement in which they also refute these claims.

“Mr. Combs and his legal team are completely confident in the facts and the integrity of the trial,” the lawyers stated. “In court, the truth prevails: Mr. Combs has never subjected anyone—man or woman, adult or minor—to sexual violence.”

Buzby, based in Texas, has represented numerous alleged victims against Combs, including a case in December that accused Jay-Z of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000 alongside Combs. Jay-Z has denied the charges and requested the court to dismiss the case.

The attorney is filing these claims under a New York law that allows victims of past sexual violence to file civil lawsuits, even after the statute of limitations expires, which will end in March.

Recent Developments

A month prior, another wave of sexual misconduct lawsuits was filed against him by five more anonymous plaintiffs. Three men and two women claim that they were drugged and subjected to sexual violence by the rapper in New York and Miami since 2001.

These accusations follow a charge made in October that Didi allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted a 10-year-old boy in 2005. It has been reported that more than 120 individuals have come forward with new allegations, including 25 minors.

More recently, he was accused of threatening to consume the flesh of one participant in his music competition from the 2000s, Creation of a Group.

In other news, it has been reported that Combs was treated in a hospital prior to the upcoming trial for sexual trade.

Sources close to New York Post stated that he was transported from the detention center in Brooklyn to a nearby hospital “under the cover of darkness” last week.

He was reportedly taken for an MRI scan late Thursday evening (January 30), which was approved due to his concerns about knee pain attributed to long-standing issues following his management of the New York Marathon in 2003.

The visit was allegedly scheduled at night to avoid what a source from law enforcement termed “chaos,” given the high-profile nature of his ongoing case, where Combs denies all allegations against him.
