Lauren Mayberry completed “Something in the Air” on Jimmy Kimmel Live following the release of her debut solo album “A sinister creature.”
The CHVRCHES frontwoman and recent Dork cover star arrives ahead of her upcoming tours, which include intimate record store dates and a full UK tour in 2025.
“A big part of this process was an exercise in giving myself the opportunity to listen to my intuition—something I really learned,” Mayberry explains. “Ultimately, that's why you start creating something – because you felt some kind of feeling and wanted to somehow articulate it. I think it was important for me to relearn that kind of independence and be aware of what I bring to whatever table I choose to sit at.”
